We are happy to inform you that an International Conference for Teachers (ICFT) is being organized by Jyotirmoy School of Education under the aegis of The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA) along with South China Normal University, P.R. China on 8th and 9th April, 2017for the third consecutive year.
As we all are a witness of a fast ever changing world that is turning into a global village, we all are very much aware of this phenomenon called Globalisation which has immensely affected all spheres of life surpassing boundaries. Keeping this on mind on 8th and 9th April, 2017 has called a conference on “Administration and Management of Educational Institutions in the Global Perspective”.
Education plays a vital role in the process of embracing globalization in true sense. A child’s inner perfection is unplugged by the magic wand of education that is already present in him. To make the educational system function properly we need an effective Administration and Management of Educational Institutions. A relevant Educational administration is appraised in terms of the meaning and consequences of its actions for the improvement of the substantive quality of collective human life in the school and the larger society. The perception and interpretation of these meanings and consequences are only possible through an organization and administrative theories conceived on the basis of real experience. Real experience of the stakeholders of various educational institutions and organization must be taken into consideration before we try to check out the rule governing measures that will lead towards a global and fitter administration and management.
This conference shall make a modest attempt to analyze and identify actionable areas with a view to improve the overall quality of academic delivery.
We are now inviting papers which, if accepted, shall be read in the conference. These will also be published in various peer reviewed journals. Accepted papers may be published in our conference journal.

To create and support a forum to connect teachers , educational policy makers and practitioners for the purpose of rethinking education in the age of globalisation and information.

To encourage and engage in collaborative schemes [Kunming & Kolkata] for the development of educational curriculum - related strategies and policies that can be used to achieve expertise.
To enhance participants’ understanding of the inter–relationships between local & global issues.
To develop a critical understanding of the difficult but necessary process of globalization in rural areas.
To focus on globalization and its impact on Human Resource & Development.
To portray effectively ‘who we are’, ‘what we do’ and ‘what we intend to do’.
Exchange of ideas as well as acquiring updated information on key issues.
To allow delegates to have issues addressed on a specific topic and present their point of view.
To create new ‘learning community’ that can stand for one mission and vision i.e. to spread education in a globalised structure to all stratas of the society.
To develop a continuous improvement, exchanging ideas as well as understanding each other’s perspective.
The seminar will open doors for research and publication.
Open gateways for researchers, scholars, teachers, stakeholders.
Charges for Airfare, Visa, Accommodation, Local Sight Seeing etc. will be intimated shortly as per participant’s requirement. We are also arranging for group travelling at Guangzhou, P.R. China and Hong Kong which will be conveyed to the willing participants accordingly.
